New Music & Dance Centre Guide
For courses starting in September 2011 please click here to see our Music and Dance Centre Guide, and for an application form please click here.
The Centres provide a variety of exciting and progressive music and dance activities for children and young people of all ages – something for everyone! Our Children’s Music Workshop programme enables our youngest musicians to nurture and develop their musicianship skills and these classes lead to a range of choirs, instrumental ensembles, orchestras and bands.
For young dancers opportunities are provided through the Young Dancers Collective programme and the nationally acclaimed Youth Dance Company. Through working with our dedicated team of experienced and enthusiastic teachers, young musicians and dancers are able to build on previous experience, learn new skills and develop their creativity in a structured, progressive and friendly learning environment.
Live performance is an exciting and vital part of a musician’s and dancer’s development and the Centres are committed to providing a thriving range of opportunities to support this. Informal lunchtime concerts, chamber music evenings, tours, band nights and dance platforms are part of our busy annual events programme. I hope that this guide will give you an insight into the activities that are available.
