Whether it is through the enjoyment of mastering instrumental and vocal skills, the excitement of developing creative ideas, the experience of seeing and hearing world class musicians or the thrill of actually being a performer, getting involved in music can be a truly fulfilling and lifelong experience.

A wide range of musical opportunities are available for children and young people in Brighton & Hove. These include our innovative whole class creative music making Soundmakers programme, instrumental and vocal lessons in small groups, a Gifted and Talented tuition scheme for more advanced musicians, out of school music centre and summer school activities, opportunities to play in nationally acclaimed orchestras, bands and ensembles and a series of projects and events held throughout the year in the city and further afield.
