Vision Statement

Vision: Our vision is for all children and young people in the city, whatever their background, to be able to engage with, to enjoy, and to be inspired by high quality music, arts and study support opportunities.

Aims:

• To contribute to the Every Child Matters agenda through the delivery of music, arts and study support strategies, in partnership with local providers.
• To encourage access and participation in music, arts and study support activities through personalised and targeted programmes.
• To work with schools and other stakeholders to raise standards in music, arts and study support.
• To support children and young people in achieving their potential through the delivery of high quality, creative and innovative learning opportunities in music, arts and study support.
• To work in partnership with parents/carers, and to ensure the service provides appropriate support and information
• To support children and young people in sharing, communicating and celebrating their achievements in music, arts and study support.
